I have this board and thought I would give first-hand feedback to people looking to purchase. This is a great board. It is wider than standard paddle boards. It is very stable and pretty hard to fall off of it, even someone who has never paddleboarded before could get on this and stand up on this easier than standard paddleboards and would be much less likely to fall off (not impossible to fall off but much more stable compared to standard boards). Due to it being wider, it is harder to straddle the board where you sit on the board and put a leg in the water on both sides. It is much heavier than other boards I have or had but not impossible to carry, just wider and heavier, so not great for long treks carrying it down to the water. A plus to the it being a heavier board is that it is less affected by windy times compared to lighter boards that when a wind gust comes along, it pushes you backward or spins the board around. Another plus to it being heavier is that if you or your kids fall off the board, they can easily get back on this board, while with much lighter boards, the boards tend to flip over when some adults and kids try to climb back on from in the middle of the lake so I believe this to be a safer board for kids especially as you want them to be able to get back on the board without the board flipping over from them pulling on the handles trying to climb back on. One thing to know about this board is it doesn't have d-rings if you want to clip things on the board or attach a seat etc, however you can buy d-rings on Amazon and glue them on so not a deal breaker. The electric pump is great for inflating and deflating, and it takes about 10 minutes to inflate to 15 psi. This is a great deal as the pump alone would cost $80, so the board is only $100. I did buy an adapter that converts the pumps car adapter to a regular wall plug in case I want to inflate the board away from the car. Hope this helps anyone interested in buying this board.

This is the adapter I bought to convert from DC (car cigarette lighter plug) to AC (wall plug). It works great for me, and I have had it 2 years now. I have also been able to use this to inflate multiple paddle boards 1 after another without any issues or overheating. Hope this helps.

I bought this one the last time it came up as a slickdeal for $200 and have used it a few times since. It's ... OK.

I mean, like the other said, it's very very stable for a SUP board but it's also quite unwieldy if there's any distance to walk to the shoreline (HEAVY and bulkier) and slow to paddle around and maneuver compared to my other hyperlite standard board. It's just in general more tiring to deal with - I contemplated returning it even with the steep discount. The kids like wrestling on top of it though since it's much more stable, but if we go any distance out on the lake, they want to switch SUP boards unless I'm doing the paddling on that beast. It's all relative through, I'm not exactly a large person - if you're a big strong dude, your perspective may be it's not that bad at all. But when it comes to hauling our boards back up to where the car's parked, i genuinely hate it and this is coming from someone who rather enjoys exercise.

At this point, we're just going to keep it but I wouldn't buy it again. I do like how the fins stay attached & fold-in though as we've lost a fin on our other SUP board before!

Just my two cents

Comes with electric pump, at least a $45 value, but has to be powered from 12 volt source. Wraps up into a backpack bag. Why offer a backpack bag if you can't inflate it where you're packing to. Seems like any bag would have done the same thing since it doesn't come with a traveling hand pump.
I prefer the backpack to any other pack. You are right, though. I would like a good manual pump instead of the 12V one. I hope I can use one that I already have.

Have one. Good and stable. Heavy. It is glued, not fused, in some seams I can see glue leftover. Because it is not fused, it will deteriorate and will become unglued, specifically in high humidity environment.

I bought four different kinds of portable battery pump and used an adapter. Four different Tire pumps four different sounds from quiet to loud with the largest one being 20,000 milliamp. Still took quite a while to inflate and needed recharging after three inflations plus they can't deflate like the electric pumps. The technology is improving. Hopefully in a couple years the backpack style bags will become the way to go with a handy dandy portable inflator/ deflator

It could possibly be like inflatable kayaks where their heat welded and glued

Once you overwhelm her, she may stop noticing new ones coming in.

True, she no longer questions when another fishing rod/reel shows up anymore.

I am glad I can be of service. Enjoy your new boat. Too bad I wouldn't be able to mask a Hobbie Kayak purchase lighting up my CC statement as another Costco grocery haul.

We bought two of these earlier this year. As beginning SUPers, we like them. They are stable as others have said. Where we go, it's not a far walk from the parking area, so weight isn't really a concern and the 12v pump works well, though extremely loud. Every time we go, someone asks us about the boards because they've never seen anything like it.

Bought two of these when they were $200 each. Totally worth the price and very happy with purchase. We're just casual riders with our two Yorkies so these are perfect

Apparently you can use it to make a micro skiff.

47 lbs? That's pretty darn heavy for an inflatable SUP... is it possible that's the weight of the entire package/pump/bag etc?

Edit: nope... appears to be very heavy due to the pontoon design.
