This popped up this morning on my BCE card. Since this is a rewards app, this would be free money on top of free money, as far as I can tell.

I purchased a Home Depot gift card through the Pepper app. On my Amex account, the vendor shows up as MOOCHO. I guess I bought it through a third party even though it was all pretty seamless and I thought the purchase would qualify for $15 credit from Amex.

Moocho is pepper, that is the pre-authorization. Final charge will show as pepper
Well I found out all the terrible crap JustFly company had done, let them know by law they had to cancel my flight to USA within 24 hours,etc documented everything.
You got lucky, there's no law that says you have 24 hour to cancel flight to USA for OTA (DOT has 24 hour cancel for airlines selling to USA consumers, but not for OTA selling to USA consumers)

2 different deals, both require amex offer availability and both require amex card, you cannot use amex gc and get pepper $15 discount

Not true. Final charge showed up as MOOCHO
Still same company
It shows as MOOCHO as the final vendor on my Amex account ( after pending). No credit has appeared . Normally , I receive a message and the Amex offer moves to "used" on my account .
The Amex offer for Pepper says:
Please allow 90-days after 12/31/2024 for the statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account.
It will be a long wait to see if the $15 credit shows up ….
