7.50-7.99 for a 12 pack puts this in the 4-5 dollar territory for a 12 pack.

I get this is the new normal but man this blows.

Because of the "new normal" with these ridiculous prices - I now get the Walmart brand soda - $1 for a 2 liter. Coke and Pepsi lost me as a customer for life!

My soda budget hasnt changed since pre pandemic, so I just get less Frown

This is a bad deal. I think each pack comes out to $4.79(?) per pack.
The new norm for sales prices are: $4 for 12 packs & $1 for 2 liter bottles.
Major grocery chains will have sale prices like this around holidays (Albertsons and Kroger).

My point was not that you shouldn't get brand name soda, my point was there is no reason to pretend that it's all the same quality. It is definitely NOT.

Yeah you can get $3.50ish per 12 pack when they go on sale, but in my area seems to only happen around like every 6 weeks so I just stock up.

Dollar general has 12 packs, 3 for $12 with a coupon. And I think $1 cash back in DG bucks or however it works.

I'm sure krogers or Randall's will have 5 for 20 for Thanksgiving week. Right now deals by me are for 20...nope, no bueno

edit...nevermind, the DG was Saturday only

Yeah, I remember back when 24 packs were $5. $8 for a 12 pack is insane (and we never pay it). Always just wait for sales and stock up or just buy store brands that are usually 1/2 the cost and nearly the same.

People are still buying way too much soda. This is a terrible sale price. Glad I gave it up due to being a waste of money.

People here pretending we're not on a deal site with a price archive from the past decade plus.

Even 4.5 years ago you could get 12 packs for $2.40 - not sure why everyone thinks $2 per 12 pack is outrageous pre-COVID and is "last millennium".
