But iCloud caching / space management frees up so much space 128Gb is perfect for me. Might be adding some games since the proc supports lots of advanced mobile gaming now.
The size is the magical feature and the price … will always be a trickle down set of upgrades every few years till they add a Pro model.
This is the best set of upgrades it's ever gotten. It's really a huge boost over the 6 I just sold. 2x RAN really needed.
I hope it becomes a great Apple AI entry point and really gooses sales upward … might make a Pro version appear one day.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you ever get one … this is the perfect time of year to try them out once the holiday return windows show up mid January or later return dates give lots of time to stress test these things to be sure you want them.
