Hi You don't need to be a Samsung employee. The EPP program means your company has registered with Samsung to provide it's employees exclusive discounts. You can see eligibility here. https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/o...workplace/

Didn't know what EPP was... you have to be a Samsung employee (Employee Purchase Program) for this one.

Off the top of anyone's head . . . Do you know if there's a twin for this? One that doesn't have the KVM switch, etc. Seems like it would redundant for me to have two of them be exactly the same, so I'd buy this one and one that has the same specs regarding space, etc. Otherwise, I'm going to pounce on two.
We assemble small form-factor computers, and I've often wanted a KVM switch.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Apologies in advance to anyone who thinks I should do my own searching

Their check eligibility link doesn't even work lol. Doesn't change the fact that it's ridiculous that these keep popping up as front page when less than 10% of people actually have access to these deals. Obviously Samsung is paying to be promoted here.

The link works for me. Their example for Samsung.com funnily enough doesn't work, but maybe they have a separate employee portal. Usually these EPP deals are for larger corporations or organizations that also participate in like "Perks at Work".
Also, people never complained about deals being exclusive to regions like Fry's or Micro Center. A deal is a deal.
But I am personally going to wait a bit longer to see if BF/CM have anything.

Thanks for your feedback 🙂 I post deals that I think people will like and I don't shill. All deals that make it to the Frontpage are voted there by members of Slickdeals site and in my opinion, regional, YMMV, limited deals like Samsung EPP/EDU can earn their spot on the Frontpage along with national deals. Additionally, we always watch out for manufacturers and sellers who attempt to manipulate votes.
I do have access to this deal (through the education program, so it's not quite as good @ $269). Curious about people's thoughts on this as a monitor for productivity, research, and office type work. Are Samsung monitors good quality in general? Seems like great features for the price, but shipping is slow and returns look inconvenient so am trying to check in advance.

It looks like only one USB-c PD, so second computer to be connected via USB-B and HDMI/DP.
Would've been much better with 2 USB-c's.
Any like that exist? Any SDs on them recently?

edit: per the video on Amazon, it does
edit: the kvm seems "interesting". the secondary uses the DP and Type-B USB
