Note: Your Redemption Bonus will vary from 10% to 50% depending on the type of Chase card you have. Your credit card will be charged the full remaining dollar amount over your points redemption; for example, if you choose to buy Apple merchandise at $120 at $1.50 redemption value (50% bonus), and you use 4,000 points ($40 worth of points w/ 50% bonus = $60), your credit card would be billed for the remaining $60.

I guess returns are not accepted for these purchases unless there is some defect/ damage. Something to keep in mind. I learnt it the hard way
Points go 50% further, it's not 50% off. Here's an example of a $100 item:
10,000 points = $100
what amount of points (define as X) * 150% = 10,000?
1.5X = 10,000 --> X = 10,000/1.5 = 6,667
with 50% bonus, $100 = 6,667 points, a savings of 3,333 points (10,000 - 6,667)
3,333/10,000 = 33%, or a 33% savings
said another way:
normally $1 = 100 points, but with the 50% further $1 = 100/1.5 = 66 points
Old Price = 100 Points
New Price = 66 Points
Change = (New price - Old price) / Old Price = (66 - 100) / 100 = -33/100 = -33%

It's only when you have the Chase Reserve card when you received the 50% discount. Otherwise, if you have the "Preferred", you'll only received 20% discount instead of 25% as stated above!

WTH? The pricing for the iPhone 16 Pro is at retail price but $30 above retail for regular iPhone 16, which really negates the savings from the bonus. ♂️

I have chase sapphire preferred. Was really hoping to get that 50% bonus points because I lost my watch and my iPhone 13 is kind of on its last legs it seems.
My bonus is only 25%
There are TONS of ways to redeem points for business class flights , and it is definitely not limited to Zimbabwe. If you're going to criticize something at least be knowledgeable and not spread misinformation
It's evident that a lot of people here don't know the difference between cost and value.
Anyone know the policy if the package is lost/stolen? Since it's from third party and chase states they're just the payment processor, sounds like it could be a headache…
25% more for International Business? Are you sure you aren't missing a zero?
Because I don't think I know anyone who wouldn't pay $1001 vs $800 for 11 hour flight from LA to London round trip. The lounge, premium checkin, bag allowance and seat selection, fast track in LHR alone is almost worth the price...especially if there is a delay.
Yay pretty sure business class international isn't $200 extra.
Folks, if you have a preferred card, you can just upgrade to the Reserve to take advantage of the 50% more value of points. Order and get your items. Then downgrade back to the preferred card. They do give you about month or few before they charge the $550.
Chase sapphire here. 25%. Ended up getting my dad an iPad air 13 inch. He will love it. As much as the travel points are awesome, I simply will not be using them the next few years.
I see this also, 25% for preferred. I originally acquired the points via Reserve, but downgraded to Preferred after first year to stop paying the annual fee.
Also to note, Freedom Unlimited is only 10%.
If I have the preferred is it worth upgrading to the sapphire, then product change back to the preferred, to get this deal i need 2 new phones.
But your neglecting the fact that there are other ways to get discounted apple products by buying discounted apple gift cards. I easily get apple gift cards at 10 - 30% off.
Hello, where can I get discount apple gc? And can I use apple gc and some points to get a phone?
Does this start in Nov? I'm seeing 1:1 rate on my portal. I have CSR
Btw this is not the best way to use your points but if you are sitting on top of a fast stack and don't have any travel plans coming up, getting 1.5 cpp is not the worst thing in the world.
Also it's probably only worth it for iphone 16 because you can usually get a discount on Macs and other apple products from other merchants like Costco.
Edit: nvm you have to click into the Apple portal and not just rely on what it says on the Chase UR site.
