Probably more importantly I think these would be air tight and the screw on lids even though they have a thin rubber gasket are not really air tight unless you can them.
So these would be good for storing things that need to be air tight like your weedz ___o0

I have those, but they rust sometimes. And you're supposed to throw them out after canning a certain number of times. I'm getting these just for storage that doesn't have to be canned

Hi Ben - from my experience the metal ones rust. Therefore you may get contamination and sometimes hard to get them on or off. That being said I would not put wooden ones in the dishwasher either as the wood may split over time with the heat.
Just my two cents. Everyone has an opinion this is just mine.
