Current situation: I am on a T-mo SC-NA grandfathered plan with 12 lines + T-mo HI 5G line. T-mo does not have any promos for device upgrade unless I move to the Go5G plan (way more expensive) than the monthly price I pay for the lines. Current monthly cost ~$256. No EIP, all devices paid for.
Happened to walk by Costco AT&T booth here in the Bay Area and they seem to be wooing T-mo customers with a too good to be true offer... Here's the deal...
1. Tradein my all my devices iPhone 12, 12 pros, 12 mini, 13 pro max, 14, 14 pro maxs, 15, Pixel 8, Samsung A32s and all devices will be upgraded to 16 pros, 16 pro maxs, pixel pro and A32s to Samsung S24 FEs.
2. $100 Costco GC for each line I bring over from T-mo ($1200)
3. $200 Costco GC for AT&T fiber internet connection
Monthly AT&T cost (all in) is $313 for all lines and AT&T 300/300 fiber connection. Once devices are paid for (3 yrs), monthly cost will be $309. For $60/ month more, it seems like a deal worth jumping into. See screenshot attached. Thoughts?

Only advice I'd really give if you're gonna go with this promo is to see what it costs to go from s24 FE to S24 or better so it'll last longer without needing an upgrade.
Trade ins can also screw you over. One trade in or two that don't go as planned and you lost.
No activation fees ?
Also you can't upgrade for three years without losing bill credits.
3 year contract on the phone what about on the fiber?
They had a similar spiel to what was offered at a T-Mobile store, but at the end, I realize both of them are just trying to make the sale, and don't actually know anything. Only until it's not working and you're on the phone with a rep they actually have the fine print and actually what is possible and not possible .

While only 10 lines per group, you can have multiple groups on an account. Have to be careful how they split the groups, and only the first group gets discounts such as the teacher discount.
You can pay off a phone or upgrade the phone, as long as you have started to receive the bill credits, you will continue to receive them.
