Whats with the 10 year+ troll accounts on SD?

Just noticing ALOT of borderline racist, xenophobic remarks by established accounts completely going unchecked for seemingly years, lol. Is this just the norm here?

I think they shouldn't have been to nuke it, just change the rules to no politics and enforce them (like here in the Lounge), and presto, tolls would be gone.

Regarding the meaningful discussion in the Lounge, you could ask the most distinguished Lounge participant and an official Courtesy Commissioner He's usually very helpful with stuff like that.

What missiethegal said is true about using the mod alert button for these stupid comments. Unfortunately, that only solves the problem for that one post by removing it, but the user is still here to make another trolling post tomorrow.
I have found the best way to solve this constant problem is by adding that person to your IGNORE LIST. Just left click on that persons name in their post and a little menu will appear. Just click on the bottom option which is to add them to your ignore list.
Your problem is now solved permanently.
A lot of it is fantastically funny. It's unfortunate people are too sensitive. We live in a great country, let's try to be happy!
