I got this ladder last time it was on sale. Same price. Great ladder very stable versatile but heavy for quickie fix it projects around the house. I find myself going back to my old school aluminum ladder.

Great ladder and this appears to be the new "deal" price. Pick up a pair of Gorilla brackets while at HD and turn it into 2 ladders with the option to add a plank for a scaffold.

Dam inflation. It doesn't seem like that long ago when these were regularly on sale for 100 bucks.

Is this how ladders normally advertise as reach length? This is actually just short of a 19' ladder, your body reach makes up the other 3 feet.i actually need that extra length on the ladder to reach my roof
Yes. Most multi position ladders that I've seen advertise the "maximum reach" as opposed to A-frame ladders that advertise actual ladder height.

This is a great ladder and versatile for different projects. It's reliable and I feel safe using this. With that said, this ladder can be very heavy and difficult to get around doorways. If you don't mind a heavy ladder that's difficult to move around then buy it. I mainly use this to get on my roof and trim my trees. I use a step stool indoors because it's easier to move around.

This ladder is heavy and a pain in the neck to move around. It's cool in theory but you'll end up avoiding fixing stuff high up. Get an aluminum or fiberglass one and thank me later.

Will this fit in a camry...? Or is my best option just shipping it?

It'll fit with the back seats folded down, but it's kind of heavy for 1 person to handle.

This ladder is aluminum. You must be comparing it to A Frame ladders, which have a different purpose than these.

These ladders are ideal if you only have space for one and you need to do a variety of tasks but don't use a ladder often. Used ours a ton at our smaller ranch house where it could accomplish almost anything. Less so at newer, taller house where it can't even reach some ceilings.

If you have the space to store multiple ladders, need to reach a high roof or use a ladder frequently for choring then this is probably too heavy and too short. Save your wallet and your back, buy a fiberglass A-frame for everyday tasks and an aluminum extension ladder for the roof instead.

I'm seeing an aluminum pure extension ladder of the same length / duty rating @ the same weight but 2x the price (here [homedepot.com]).

Stepping down the duty rating can shed weight, seeing a type 2 (225 pound limit) version that drops the product weight to under 30 pounds.

Little Giant is lighter and better.
Is it 22 ft reach ladder? I see only 16 ft one at Costcp.
The 22 ft Little Giant (at Lowes) is the same weight as this (38 lbs).

I also bought the 375lb years back, $100. If you have to risk your life on a fold out, it's one I trust. I used it often for years, still like new. It has some funky adjuster handles but they work. It's a lifetime ladder, but when you get older it gets heavier.
I got the same one. Used it many times with no issue and I am 350. Sturdy bigtime.

DAMN IT! I just bought the Little Giant version for $80 more 3 weeks ago. Figures Frown

EDIT- well, from what I'm reading the Little Giant is a lot better anyway. The one I bought has wheels to drag it around, it's easy to lift, and it's very well built.

I have one of these. They're extremely sturdy but heavy compared to the average thin aluminum ladder. I doubt my wife could carry it and move it into position easily. It says it's only 38 lbs but it feels heavier than that to me.
