Junk stuff
Remember that these are the PRE-Black Friday ("Event One") deals listed, and no one has yet announced the actual Black Friday ("Event Two") and Cyber Monday ("Event Three"). The thread should make that clearer.

Pretty much all of the chain stores don't price match Black Friday sales.
Otherwise, everyone would do what you're hoping to do. And everything in the BF ads would be sold out weeks or months in advance.
Remember the glory days of credit cards that price adjusted to black friday for purchases made up to 60 days before? Good times.

SD works for big corporations like Amazon, Walmart and Costco Smilie
Well…they have to get paid somehow. Smilie

There are good prices once in awhile. You just have to go through all the junk to get to it.

terrible black Friday deals
Black Friday deals doesn't really exist any more. We are far from the days of lining up at the store to open. They rather you don't crowd at the store because more things get stolen. So they'll spread the deals throughout the year.

Their site has been pushing "restored" electronics all year.
If its an M series macbook pro, even the M1, its still a good deal. If its intel era, ignore it.

ManBearPig is known to be a humanoid creature with hooves, claws, fur growing all over his body, pig-like ears and snout.

In the flesh, he is portrayed as a hulking chimera whose face is that of a pig on one side and that of a bear on the other. His body is partly covered in hair and has some human features on his torso. He has human-like legs and pig-like feet. The left side of his face is usually covered in blood, but appears to have human-like flesh beneath it.

I probably am in the minority, but I miss the old BF crowds. My spouse and I would start out early (around 4am) and work our way all around town after getting the Thanksgiving paper. Remember newspapers? I spent many a happy Thanksgiving night standing in lines for literally hours at WM and Target for the sale DVDs and Blurays. I would start monitoring the BF forums here starting around the middle of November. Nowdays, it's one big yawnfest. We live in the midwest and for the last few years, we drive about 4 hours to Minneapolis and spend BF and Saturday at MOA. Don't always buy a lot, but love the chaos.
And horror movie like Thanksgiving have taken out the fun from wild shopping nights.

No need for second month of service, just one month is enough
If you stop service after one month then forget at the end of the second month, can you still get it unlocked later?

already answered this, you can stop service after 1st month, and it will unlock 2 months from purchase date. so its 200(device)+45(required 1 month plan for activation). after the 1st month the plan will end. 1 month from the plan ending(or 2 months from activation) the phone will unlock for use on any carrier

I had an absolute nightmare last year buying a samsung a54 from walmart to have it delivered. Very much recommend going in-store to buy the iphone OP can you please add the price of service (since it's required) to the iphone
Last year I ordered two front page phones. Yes it was too good to be true it was charged to me along with the plan to be able to process the order. The phones were never sent. I had to deal with customer service many times and even tried to chargeback with visa. They somehow got visa to side with them even though they never shipped the product and their own tracking numbers showed that. Back to customer service again and again and finally got a refund. I swore never to do these again. I got the 13 last year also and did not want to cancel even 1 day before the 1mo to unlock it and it auto charged me for the second month. Again it was quite a hassle with customer service to get it unlocked and off their monthly plans. I like the 13 and it was a good deal for $300 but I won't go through the hassle again ever I'll just get something with the plan I intend to keep. This was even worse than driving to the WalMart an hour away for some imaginary in stock sale item that isn't there. I still use SD but am more careful with what I believe.

It's the same stuff every year. Retail needs a transformation because it will never be Black Friday as we know it. How many more years of old Beats before they wake up?
What different stuff are you looking for? It's the same stuff because that's what people want. Tvs, iPhones, laptops/tablets. And no it's not going to be the hottest newest tech. We all know this, so what is the big deal? You're here on SD so you're still gonna find the good deals thru out the year.
