Do you tip your Amazon drivers or your mailman/person?

The tipping culture is out of control in the U.S.

Businesses (should) pay their employees and staff fair wages and health insurance, and the consumer should pay for the products. It's just that simple.
I shop and deliver for Walmart. They have created algorithms to give drivers a certain amount regardless of the tip amount. An order with no tip Walmart will pay $11 and if you add a $7 tip, the driver gets the same $11 but now it's broken into Walmart Pays $4 and customer tip $7.

They're using the tips to underpay the drivers and make bigger profits !

I've never tried this but their "InHome" "plus up" is only $40 a year and there are no tips because it's real walmart employees

from what I understand they don't have to come into your home either

so for frequent deliveries +$40 inhome might be worth it

Mine expires in a week, I will cancel it. Let's see if I get an offer to renew it at the 50% off price. Even at that rate I'm not so sure it's worth it for me, I don't buy much from Walmart. I use the 10 cents off at gas station but in a few months I'm replacing my gas powered car with an EV so won't benefit from that anymore.

Cool. Do you tip USPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon? You are already paying for the service. Why am I tipping? Maybe I should get tipped for posting comments. Send me $1 for bringing you knowledge. Walmart is passing the cost of their service off to you with these tipping scams. Every service from Uber to Doordash underpay their drivers while charging 30-50% more for the product. Who suffers? Stop supporting tipped services.

About ⅔ of my same-day delivery shipments (not scheduled deliveries of groceries) don't leave the store until 2-3 days after they're supposed to be delivered and I've already cancelled the order. Is this only a problem for me? I assumed it's because their employees near here are imbeciles, but is this a nationwide issue? I guess it's worth it for me because I'd probably pay for paramount plus anyway, but the Walmart benefits of Walmart+ aren't that hot or worth it for me.

I order from Walmart all the time, and there isn't even an option to tip.

Guess maybe if I did a grocery order and had that delivered? I ordered some boxer briefs the other day and they came in one day, no tip option.

I am curious about the included Paramount+ Essential membership. I assume this means ad-supported. Does anyone know if it possible to upgrade to no ads?

They upgraded everyone for free during prime deal days, but you can pay $60/yr for premium if you missed it.

My membership renews in a few days ($50 offer) and we signed up for their $40/yr In-home tip-free add on. In the one-month trial for the in-home service right now. But we are thinking of cancelling.

There are two major issues -
1) The tip free hours available are only two slots 9am to 1pm and 1pm to 5pm. So basically, only regular working hours. That means the only practical slots left are for the weekend, which get booked early. So, we have to plan much in advance. Of course, you still have the 'tip extra' regular evening deliveries available. But if I'm spending $40 extra to avail of the in-home tip-free option, no point in booking tip options on the side.
2) The produce deliveries are extremely bad. It's like they go out of their way to send the expiring soon stuff just to get rid of such stock from their store. This might be specific to the Walmart that services our location. But every time we schedule something - fruits, bread, bakery goods etc., we have to throw half the fruit or contend with baked goods that are expiring the same day.
