Do you tip your Amazon drivers or your mailman/person?

The tipping culture is out of control in the U.S.

Businesses (should) pay their employees and staff fair wages and health insurance, and the consumer should pay for the products. It's just that simple.

I shop and deliver for Walmart. They have created algorithms to give drivers a certain amount regardless of the tip amount. An order with no tip Walmart will pay $11 and if you add a $7 tip, the driver gets the same $11 but now it's broken into Walmart Pays $4 and customer tip $7.

They're using the tips to underpay the drivers and make bigger profits !

Got a push notification with this deal and clicked on it for fun, and it took me to an error page.

Be aware, if u have a trial account & subscribe, it will erase however much trial u have left. I had 3 months from Xbox live last year, then saw this deal & subscribed. i lost 2.5 months of trial & no amount of complaining to customer service would fix it. I said screw it give me my money back unless y'all restore my trial. They gave me a refund & we parted ways. I live less than 1 mile from Walmart neighborhood market, so oh well.

Many of the shipping orders also get delivered using the "delivery" channel. So whatever Walmart pays for those deliveries should be paid to the grocery orders too so that tips aren't expected and are what tips were originally meant to be - something extra to appreciate excellent service.
When i used it for groceries & told the app to leave outside my door, the drivers would knock for 5+ minutes sometimes, waiting to hopefully get a tip. I didn't want to interact with anyone, so i waited, but only if i put a tip on the order when i ordered would they not do that.

I've never tried this but their "InHome" "plus up" is only $40 a year and there are no tips because it's real walmart employees

from what I understand they don't have to come into your home either

so for frequent deliveries +$40 inhome might be worth it

https://www.walmart.com/plus/inhome
I don't want them in my home. I want them delivered to my door, without paying more than the extra i am paying for them membership. That's not possible, unless u don't mind them hanging around begging after they leave the order. I ordered every week for 2 months on my mom's account, & 80% of the time, they would stay & knock, knock, knock, knock for 5+ minutes. The only reason had to be to get a tip. I out waited them, but i shouldn't have to. Not worth it IMO.

My annual membership was set to expire Nov 7, 2024. I was on last years $49 deal for 1 year.
I clicked on the link, went to my membership details, chose cancel, and was offered the 50% off banner.
Annual $98.00 (special offer) Renews Nov 8, 2024 @ $49.00
So now I have another year @ $49 😃 Thanks Discombobulated
I had tried this a few weeks ago when it was posted, but the banner did not pop up when I tried cancelling.

Is Paramount Plus going to make me watch ads? I'm not happy with Amazon making me watch ads. FU Amazon, I'm not paying you another $3.
Yes, it has ads. I use the Shield and figured a way to bypass the ads. We'll see how long it lasts before they figure out and nix my workaround.

Correct, InHome deliveries can just be left on your front porch or in your garage the same way Amazon Key works. There is no tip option with the InHome orders.

You can have InHome orders left on your front porch so no need for them to enter your home.

I don't mind tipping for this, Walmart doesn't raise prices for their delivery service.
Sure you pay 50 to 100 a year for the service but of all the delivery services available this is hands down the best.
Amazon doesn't deliver groceries around here, they also don't deliver items in one day, the mailman don't either.

Thank you so much. Mine expired a few months ago. I used the service at least twice a month. At $50 a year it's an amazing value. It would cost me more in gas to go there.

Received a letter in the mail to link Walmart+ to the Burger King app to get 25% off one order every day and a free Whopper every 3 months.
