These are a worthy competitor though. If you're looking for absolute top-end quality, obviously these aren't it because they're $150. Some people here are comparing them to XM5s from Sony... Dear lord I hope if you double the price the XM5s would crush these. I haven't seen those at a comparable price to these though, so I think the comparison is kind of empty.
I'm impressed by the quality of these. I initially discarded them specifically because of the Beats branding, but after reading some reviews and trying them - I'm quite pleased. If your budget is $150... I don't think you'll find anything better. If your budget is higher, of course there are better options.

Things do know.
Watched MNF ON Direct TV, but through the Apple app. The headphones connected easily and I listened to the game through the headphones. A big plus.
AppleCare is included. A lot of reviews claimed they didn't get it. It's already activated. I thought I didn't get it either. I finally found it in settings. I guess pairing activated it.
