$16.07/tb for high end drives.

Not the best deal for $/tb but these are great drives.

I don't understand, what makes them worth it at such a high cost?

I wouldn't consider $225/14tb a "high cost" really.
The "normal" deal for shucking an Easystore from BB is $200/14tb. These Golds run faster and have a longer warranty than the easystores.

unless you are comparing to refurb drives and that's a different story.

This deal is more cost effective than the 2x12TB Red Plus for $400 I posted not too long ago https://slickdeals.net/f/17828568-two-12tb-wd-red-plus-drives-400?src=sdsearchv3&attrsrc=thread%3aexpired%3afalse

Not to mention the 5 year warranty for Golds vs 3 years for Red Pluses

Bought x4 of these. Great deal on top of the line drives. Backblaze's reports always show WD HDD's being the best.

hmm... I tried to add 2 or 4 drives to the carts... The discount doesn't show up like it used to.

Do I need to put in some promo code ?

Thanks in advance

Works for me. Make sure you have the WD141KRYZ, not the WD142KRYZ.

Thanks... I got it now.. I was just clicking on the link with Gold Enterprise...

I guess I need to select the "Clearance" section.

Do you know what's the difference between the 2 version ?

Just an older hardware revision they are clearancing out. Reports from people who ordered said they have 2021 manufacturing dates so they've been sitting for quite a while.

I look at the spec, the old model has faster transfer speed
