So you bought stuff from Mountain Hardwear before Columbia bought them in 2003? Wow! Tell us more about your history with high quality outdoor clothing and Mountain Hardwear gear almost 22 years ago!
It's not MH's fault, it's slickdeals' tracking links that the browser is blocking.
Use this link: https://www.mountainhardwear.com/c/web-specials/ (you have to copy and paste because slickdeals imposes the broken tracker! sheesh!)
The UL20 packable backpack is incredibly useful for traveling. I always have it in my luggage for day hikes or long walks around town where I need to bring some extra layers and water. It is well made, surprisingly comfortable and easy to stuff it back into itself.
All their stuff was a lot better, and a great value at the sale prices BEFORE Columbia bought them. Now they are probably not even worth the sale prices.

Mountain hardware is junk now, got a pair a pants 2 weeks ago from sd post and they were crap, material felt like tissue paper and size was a joke, ordered normal size that use to fit me with room and the crap I got was 2 sizes smaller in length and waistband

I have the same problem. Put pants in the closet at the end of winter, and I'll be damned if those pants don't shrink 2 sizes by time fall comes along.
Des anyone know if the updated nylon ripstop Scrambler 25 is meaningfully better than the original xpac version? I already bought the black nylon one, but I'm liking the poblano color of the original.

From my experience as a non-Columbia employee, MH is generally worth a 70% price tag
