I am not a boost member and I am so noob with phone deals. Never had iphone.
So if I purchase online and it says select 60 and on check out it says 60/month.
it doesn't look like one time charge....
This deal is more worth it if you have already a line ready to upgrade with them in the grandfathered 10 dollar or 25 dollar unlimited plan
I have a $15/mo plan and I am eligible to upgrade. I can get the phone for $160 after taxes. I'm tempted to buy it but 1 year is a very long wait to unlock it.
I have $10 plan and discovered this yesterday, but It's not actually buyable. Once you go to cart, it becomes full price.
When I'm logged in with my $25/mo yearly plan that I use for a hotspot it lets me buy for $150 (it's more like 195 with tax)
My (personal) problem with this deal is that I wasn't planning on keeping my hotspot after the next bill is due, so I won't be able to unlock this phone unless I pay another $300 next september lmao.
Overall, the walmart $200 iphone13 is a better deal if you plan on putting the phone on another service, unlock period is only 60 days instead of a year.
Oh yeah and the other problem I've heard multiple times from boost's subreddit is that they (sometimes) will cancel orders for no reason claiming security problems, and if they do that they'll lock you out of "upgrade pricing"
Those looking for an android phone I really recommend get it from boost if you got upgrade pricing since they don't put a lot of bloatware in their Android devices.
