Anyone have experience with this? Or any recommendations?
I bought this earlier this year and it's perfect for what we needed: a powerful vacuum and not a mop. No self emptying feature if that's something you want though. We find the bin capacity large enough and like the small size of the charging base.
the mopping function is basically just dragging a wet cloth along the floor, so this really works best as a vacuum only. probably not the best choice if you have a shedding pet as it doesn't have the self emptying bin but for anyone else it's got a lot of bin capacity

Anyone have any insight on these versus a Eufy l50/l60? Looking for a gift for my son who just got his first apartment and has all vinyl flooring but has a shedding dog. Eufy refurb is 109 or so right now trying to see if the little extra money is worth it. Idk if he would mop feature but maybe?

I own it (well, the Q5Pro+ with auto-empty)
- It's a great robot. Has great suction and coverage
- if you have a high-pile rug or a rug with tassels, it will get stuck
- it's tall, so it will fit under beds, but not so much furniture
- I would highly recommend the auto-empty version. The dust bin is tiny and you'll have to empty it every time you use it.
- The mop works really well on hardwood floors. I run mine every day and have to refill the liquid once a week. The mop pad comes off and is easily washable as well.
Great vacuum for the price. The app is not bad, but it's not as good as IRobot's. The vacuum also uses LIDAR instead of a camera, so it navigates rooms pretty well, but doesn't recognize obstacles, so keep your cords/papers/dog poop off the floor.

The Eufy is solid. I don't like the app as well as Roborock or IRobot (Roomba), but the hardware itself is solid and does a decent job. For around $100 can't really go wrong with it.
As recommended before, self-empty is a game changer in these robots. They go from daily maintenance to weekly maintenance.
Hated it, horrible obstacle avoidance. Constantly bumping into all of our furnitures and wall. I tried to return it to Roborock but they give you run around. Eventually had to use return protection from credit card. Will never buy from there.

$160 is around $100 to you?
Where did you learn your math?

Thanks! We have a shark self emptying and I love it, great feature.
I'm also kind of looking at a Eufy l50 refurb that's self emptying for 165 I think but idk if I like the bags you have to change out and as a gift I had a budget in mind I started with the Eufy l50 refurb but saw this q5 rates pretty well. One thing I like on Eufy is parts and battery seems easy to replace, can you replace batteries on Roborock I read mix things on that?
