Around $110/kwh which is pretty great for a respected Chinese brand. These LiFePO4 batteries have absolutely plummeted.

Do you think this would be ok for a Boat house battery? or do I need to buy a marine version.

Even better I bought this this morning... Same battery but with Bluetooth for $376.19 plus tax. Came to $409.They actually have the same batteries under different listings. You gotta look at all of them.

Just saw the other link above. It's a great deal. I've been researching batteries for days. Looked at Wattcycle when it was $159 for 100ah with best offer in ebay listing. During the "negotiations" they raised the price to $189. I think because of the coupon. Now the 100ah comes to $152. Pass.

Don't see low temp protection in this BMS. Be careful if these batteries can get below 0 deg C in your application as charging them when frozen will destroy them. The BT version does show low temp cutoff, well worth the price difference.

Can anyone help and share a video showing where to buy a whole kit (with rack) and how to put everything together?

My primary usage will be off-grid to charge an EV:

1. Solar input to charge is optional as I already have solar with small batteries.
2. Will input to charge these battery with either 120v or 240v cable from grid (excess solar eneegy).
3. Be able to control how much current charging these battery since I only want to charge it with excess solar energy.
4. Upgradable. I want maybe just ~10kwh battery system to start with and maybe expand to 20 or 30 kwh.

TIA.

ahh honestly you might want a marine quality. They're made up of smaller cylinder cells where this one is made up of 4x square cells.

I think it depends on how important the battery is to you and if you are okay with a shortened life (probably 50%) then it would be okay.

Honestly, I would run this battery in a Marine application. I've owned LiFePo4 batteries since 2020 - I paid $500 for 150ah.

So in 5 years, when your battery dies, can you imagine how cheap a replacement will be?

The best source of info and discussion I've found is diysolarforum.com. They aren't going to just give you a schematic, but there's lots of discussion about all the pieces and applications. Also, look up Will Prowse's videos on YouTube. There's one about things to avoid.

I would stay away from true DIY because of your large KV requirements - it takes a lot of knowledge to put together big systems . Look at ecoflow delta pro ultra / eg4 systems / Sol-ark systems - there more plug and play . If you want someone to hold your hand with all the pieces - buy from ecoflow direct / current connected / signature solar

Can't vouch for the seller or brand but budget LiFePo4 setups have been convenient for me.

New to solar systems. I am looking at doing a project with this. If ur battery is fully charged, does the solar inverter stops charging the battery?
