Get a year of free service on our Unlimited $25/mo. plan and 99% nationwide coverage on our superfast 5G network when you purchase an eligible 5G device of $299 or more. No contract or trade in required.

Runs on T-mobile, mostly. YMMV on which carrier you actually get.
For me, I can get a Samsung A25 5g for $300 and get 12 months of $25/mo plan, so either a free phone or a free plan depending on how you want to look at it.

I bought this deal as a current customer. They sent me my phone, I activated it, but they did not honor the 1 year of free service. So I chatted them, was told I was not eligible, I showed them in their ad how I was, but was still denied. I called them, and was told no on the phone. I asked them to open a ticket and escalate it and they told me there was nothing they could do for me. Well, I sent all this correspondence to my bank along with boost's own terms and requested a charge back, which my bank honored after six weeks of them going back and forth with Boost. Then boost locked my phone line and deactivated my phone and placed a $300 bill on my account. All because I bought a $300 dollar phone from them as a current customer and asked them to honor their 1 year free service agreement, which they denied me.

Lucky for me I use a Google voice number so them holding my number hostage didn't affect me, but it might affect the normal user, or you. Proceed with caution here folks.

Next time, remember to always, always, always open a new line as a new customer (different email, different name), no matter what company you're dealing with.

I've not had Boost before. I've had Metro, Cricket, Red Pocket, Xfinity and even US Mobile. None were great, took a lot of effort to setup and had many poor customer service interactions. For the most part, the phone worked, data worked but promos, rebates and rates were all issues. So is Boost is any worse?

This is a deal for someone who needs a phone and a service.

Last summer, they had a deal for moto g stylus 5g 2023 (retail $300) with 1 year of Unlimited plan for a total of $200.
So this deal is around $100 overprice.
I didn't say this in my previous post because I didn't want to thread crap, but since you asked question. This is the answer.

Thanks and didn't consider that TD. For me, a Samsung A23 > moto g stylus. Is it $100 more? probably not. TBH, with BF around the corner, I'd wait for a sweeter deal but am curious as to why Boost gets extra hate compared to other MVNO's.
