Keep in mind if you have a credit card with travel insurance, you might want to charge $1 of your ticket to the card. I finally used mine when SWA stranded me in Denver for the night and didn't pay for transportation to the hotel or for food.

And if they strand you for weather, they might not even pay for the hotel.

FYI. Sam's Club ended up having these $500 SWA eGift Cards for $399.99 last year (in November I think).

UPDATE: I checked my emails. I purchased the $500 SWA eGift Cards from Sam's Club for $399.99 on 11/22/2023 so maybe that deal will come back in about 3 weeks.

Yeah. Only thing different, I believe, is cash back from Costco and their branded credit card vs. none from Sam's?
It shows when I added to card, earn 2% for being Executive member ($9 bucks) and another 2% if use Citi CC.

Thanks for the info. I had started to search for Costco price history since I don't need these right now, had forgotten about the Sam's Club deal from last year...I did get in on that one.

I might wait to see if Sam's Club brings that deal back. Although I like the option to split the payment for the purchase into 3 months (no fees) with the Costco Visa card.

My understanding is that a non-member can shop at Sams online but there is a 10% additional charge. There are no Sam's Clubs anywhere near me! Is there any way to buy the SW Airline gc online during Black Friday without being a member and WITHOUT having to pay the 10% markup? There used to be a one-day and 90 day free trial membership, but I think it's no longer offered. Any help? Thanks.
