"Actually... this U70N/U76N series is not the same class as the regular U7 series. This 100" U70N/U76N series is QLED with 800 nits peak brightness and 256 dimming zones. The U7 series is Mini-LED with close to 1500 nits peak brightness. For context... currently, the largest U7 released is 85", and has over 600 dimming zones."
Great price especially considering the 5 year warranty, install and $100 Google Play GC. It's possible the install company won't come through, and if that's the case you can contact Costco to get the retail value refunded*
Edit: *I was only relaying the idea of a possible refund for the install from Costco as reported in another thread. Now hearing Costco may deny this. YMMV

Also agree with the other poster that the brightness on this is probably enough for most. I don't want 4000 nits on a 100" TV -- those all-white Walmart ads are already blinding at this size, I can't imagine them brighter.

I have a wall enclosure so needed a mount with extention ..this worked perfectly. We pulled the mount out, mounted the TV, then pushed the TV back in flush with the wall.

For whatever reason, my Google Chrome kept hanging up during the last window. Then tried it in Edge Browser and it went thru fine.
You'll need to upload your Costco receipt and provide the serial # off the TV. I submitted mine last week and it's already been reviewed and approved and got another email this morning for the card being mailed out. I dont need it so I'll ebay it for cheap.
I called Costco this morning and they refunded me $400 back to my credit card since I'm within the 30 day price match window ..I bought mine 2 weeks ago when this was $2199. Absolutely no regrets especially now at $1799 with gift card and 5 yr warranty.
- Allstate covers any repairs max to the price that you paid for this TV. In this case, any repairs that cost more than $1800, will be out of pocket. With this I am wondering if folks that have ordered this TV with price $2500 locked in their protection up to 2500$ with Allstate and got a price match refund which Allstate might have no information. As always their initial order confirmation email will show 2500$ which they can use if they every had any issues down the road.
Any thoughts to add or any experience from anyone who used Allstate coverage to fix any repairs they had.?Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
