"Actually... this U70N/U76N series is not the same class as the regular U7 series. This 100" U70N/U76N series is QLED with 800 nits peak brightness and 256 dimming zones. The U7 series is Mini-LED with close to 1500 nits peak brightness. For context... currently, the largest U7 released is 85", and has over 600 dimming zones."
Great price especially considering the 5 year warranty, install and $100 Google Play GC. It's possible the install company won't come through, and if that's the case you can contact Costco to get the retail value refunded*
Edit: *I was only relaying the idea of a possible refund for the install from Costco as reported in another thread. Now hearing Costco may deny this. YMMV

Years 1-2 => Costco Concierge and they work with vendor if needed be.......knowing Costco, under 2 years and panel is unrepairable, Costco may just refund u full amount in store credit.
Years 3-5 ==> AllState ....so I already have received the protection plan from All State in my email and I downloaded it and went thru the agreement.
It states they will repair up till the original cost of the TV. If cost is more, they will issue the check for the original cost of the TV (in my case, my original purchase price on the receipt shows $2199 which is what I paid 2 weeks ago. And the All State plan is based on that.
For people making purchases today, the original receipt will show as $1799 and All State policy will cover repairs up to that amount. If repairs is more than cost of TV, they will issue full check of original amount (again, depends on whats on your receipt during time of purchase). If u have the time to go thru the Costco all state protection reviews, you'll see some people have successfully received full purchase in form of paycheck from AllState (you'll have to sift thru as some reviews are off appliances, small TVs, etc).
From my own experience, with big electronics, if something fails, its always within the first 2 years. If set is ok in 2 years, it will likely outlast another 2 or more. I have 2 Hisence in my household and both were Black Friday deals over 2 years ago and no issues to this day.
And if something happens within 2 years, u are dealing with Costco conceige so no headache there. For years 3-5, u are fully covered up till the cost of the TV (whatever amount is on the purchase receipt).
With BestBuy extended warranty, the 1st year is supported by manufacturer !! It's 2nd year onwards when BB supports it .
For whatever reason, my Google Chrome kept hanging up during the last window. Then tried it in Edge Browser and it went thru fine.
You'll need to upload your Costco receipt and provide the serial # off the TV. I submitted mine last week and it's already been reviewed and approved and got another email this morning for the card being mailed out. I dont need it so I'll ebay it for cheap.
I called Costco this morning and they refunded me $400 back to my credit card since I'm within the 30 day price match window ..I bought mine 2 weeks ago when this was $2199. Absolutely no regrets especially now at $1799 with gift card and 5 yr warranty.
I'm not sure how to upload photos here so I'll try to link my photo.
