No, it's not flavored. Those are "flavor notes" but it doesn't actually have added cocoa or sugar. They're just describing what it tastes like.

Any idea is this would be "OK" for a superautomatic machine like Lattego? I usually use Lavazza Super Crema but willingly to try something to different as long as it won't damage the machine. I believe the recommendation is non-oliy beans, typically dark roasts?

This is pre-ground coffee. The amount of oil on the beans really only matters when you're grinding it. This is a medium grind for drip coffee makers. It's not ideal for an espresso machine.

I honestly don't know why people still buy this junk. Bad coffee at any price is still bad coffee.

You might want to look at 40-Oz Starbucks Whole Bean Dark Roast Coffee [amazon.com] It"s $13 or $11 for me with 15% S&S.

This is pretty cheap and fine coffee for home brew (which is what I have moved to now that Starbucks in store service is so poor and $$)
