Everyone knows leather is for cold days. No one is wearing a leather jacket in Summer lol. Your textile jacket even with the temp layer can't ride in as cold weather as a leather jacket Wink

Right? For $115 try it and see. Can always resell it.
Agreed. I just ordered it just to see what's up. If it's crap...I'll just return it

I'm guessing you live in a warmer climate closer to the equator, or else don't ride in the wet. I used to live in SoCal and wore a lot more leather back then. I live further north now, and the cold is only one factor, especially for Fall through Spring riding. I'll still wear leather for track days, or when trying to not look goofy, but my default is cloth.

When I'm not 98% sure of the weather, leather doesn't handle rain (which we get a lot of even in June) and snow well versus modern fabric weaves in the better Klim/MSR/etc clothing. I do a mixture of on/off-road, and still ride in the snow/wet (a normal occurrence up here in the Pacific Northwest, Minnesota, Canada, Scandinavia, etc).

Edit: for the people talking about body armor, here's some food for thought (via Fortnine)-

Leather is perfect for rain! water proof. But, no. I'm not riding a DUC in the rain splitting traffic 35 miles one way... NO SIR. I have a car. lol Wink I live in SoCal, you know how it goes.

I have cold weather textile jacket and my 50+ leather jacket. My problem is finding warm enough gloves.
I go with the snowboard winter gloves Wink works like a CHARM

I recently bought this jacket and it is very, very nice for the price. I originally ordered an XL and it was too big. I contacted Milwaukee and requested an exchange with a large. I had to send the first one back and upon receipt they sent me the replacement. I'm incredibly shocked at how nice the jacket seems so far. It really feels like a quality item and I think I'd have been willing to pay more for it if I had tried it on in a physical store. I know the comment is late to the party and the deal has passed, but if you like to read reviews of items you're unsure about buying like I do, maybe you'll find some value.
