This has been a game changer for us over our baby's first 2 years. We've used the mouth suction one before, its alright, but this is 100x more convenient and sanitary. At this price, no brainer.
My kiddo accepts this way better than the other types. The lights and music are surprisingly effective at distraction.
The straw sucking version is so nasty, I can't deal with it. Kids really hate it too.

I have this and the nosefrida (the mouth sucker one)...the electronic ones are useless compared to the mouth ones....and more expensive in most cases. I know its gross to think about sucking with your mouth on their snot, but after using it dozens of times I've never had an "accident" in any way.
