Apparently the cable it comes with is wobbly and has constant disconnect issues according to a lot of the reviewers. I would be very concerned with this and would prefer going with one that comes directly from Xbox.

my teenage kid plays the hell out of these. he mainly plays elden ring and COD. I tried them out for myself and i absolutely loved the clicky/mechanical keyboard feeling buttons that i decided to get my own. however i don't care for the lights so i found the non chroma version which is hard wired in case you are worried about the loose connection you mentioned.

I'm actually a big fan of it. I have bigger hands, so the back buttons are in a good spot. The extra buttons on top come in clutch often. I also like the clucky buttons. I've modded my stock controllers to have clucky buttons and triggers, so having those already in place was a nice touch. The bottom rear buttons slow your dps down when it's held. Perfect for sniping and such, especially with the tall stick on your right stick.

I've been using for for years. Bought it during amazon special last year for $49.99.

I go thru multiple xbox controllers in a year as they all end up suffering from stick drift. The xbox controller never lasted more than 8 months. I've owned the razer for almost 17 months now and zero stick drift. The new Stalker 2 has no deadzone settings which caused uproar cos any old controller will slight stick drift makes the game ungamplayable. I have zero issues for a controller this age.

I've played Elden Ring (and dlc), and pretty much all CoD series since they all support aim asist on PC.

When mine starts acting up, I'll replace it with the same one. And no, I dont have any cable loose issue ...never did.
