Kind of interesting. I have a bunch of the Amico units and the lens is quite flush with the mounting ring.

I know some folks like the more recessed style as it isn't as glaring.

I've installed a bunch of these in several remodel projects. Theyre great but the only thing I have to warn people about is that if you're an antenna person, you'll get a huge amount of rf interference with these. So do keep that in mind if you like watching sports championships over the air cause it'll cause a problem

HALOs are a known brand with an actual presence for customer service and warranty if needed. The Halo lights OP linked are IC rated for insulation contact and good for higher moisture rooms like bathrooms. UVFD are none of those FWIW. I'm sure they'll work for normal applications but it's just not a direct comparison. Also, I've seen poor electrical product design and failures enough to just stick with the main brands that at least have an US office you can sue 🤣

I have a double high ceiling 18' and need to replace the bulbs I have up there. I need something that can have enough light projected down; any idea if this will work? If they blow out then i'd be trouble as I dont have a ladder or scafold handy to replace....
