Love this drill. I reach for this more often than my 18v tools.

Same. It's one of the best tools Milwaukee has ever made.

Buy it. It's my favorite m12 tool and primary go-to.

Not a bad price on an amazing tool, but got one for 100 not long ago (w HD hack). Buy if you need it asap, but I'd wait if you're not desperate. Worst thing about it is the wonky forward/reverse, but works good to use middle finger on the trigger, which places your thumb over the selector.

I can imagine the interface between the drill and the interchangeable heads is probably going to break before anything else. I hope they engineered it properly. Were you tough on your tools or using them improperly? I understand how old that makes me sound, but it happens. You certainly wouldn't be the first nor last person to overwork a tool. But also in your defense, they should withstand hard use, unless they're trying to act like contractors don't use them and should withstand some abuse.

I agree with most this is a great drill/driver. I am a handyman and use this a lot on smaller jobs. I also agree it has a strange forward/reverse switch, but you get used to it. Very reliable tool and i've been using it for about 2-3 years now.

This goes on sale often and historically seen better deals. I got the tool with battery and charger for $114 hacked (with 3/8" ratchet) few months ago.

Overall great tool but I have 2 BIG issues with it. Like many others, I hate the forward/reverse/lock switch. Also the hex bits don't lock so when you're using a 1/4 hex shank drill bit, you have to use the reverse switch to get the drill bit out since it's held in by magnet only. If you just try and pull the driver out after drilling, it'll get stuck. Absolutely drives me crazy since this tool allows you to get in tight awkward places, but then you have to try and fiddle with the switch.
