Is "the battery" the 2x 2Ah batteries or something else? NVM, I figured it out. It is NOT the 2x 2Ah battery option, but the offer to add a 5 Ah battery in the cart.

Why is it always the tool I want that never gets no discount attention? Cmon Milwaukee show some love to the M12 FUEL 12V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/4 in. Right Angle Die Grinder for once and drop the price for a weekend or two

This thing is worth every penny at its full price, and then some.
If it wasn't for the reverse having a mind of its own with their silly button design, it would be absolute perfection.

Per the OP, the hack is to add the battery, return the battery, and keep the tool. Which is great if you already have the battery, but I'm just starting to build my Milwaukee collection so I don't have one of these batteries yet. Is this still a good deal with the battery @ $179?

Can't be any worse than the normal reverse button on their other m12 tools (if you are a southpaw). I accidentally change to reverse operation all the time when I use my left hand and it's aggravating. I actually might like this better. Gonna grab one of these and see.

EDIT: Just noticed the attachments - sweet!

This is the rare tool where I bought it, sold it, and got the Bosch for the form factor.

The Bosch is probably 2/3rds the size and not having the handle protrusion was pretty critical in getting to small/tight spaces like cabinetry.

The Bosch 12v is underrated, I'm deep into it
