Story driven metroidvania platformer. The games I'd say it's most similar to are Iconoclast or the more popular Shantae games. It very much wants to tell a story above any intentions of being a game and in that regard it does a good job of telling a pretty good story. There's a wide cast of characters throughout the game that will help the titular Owlboy in his quest since Owlboy is kinda useless by himself other than being able to fly. But the actual gameplay is not bad and I think its biggest strength are its puzzles.

Been a while since I played it but I remember having fun with it. Definitely worth the price.
