Just got this from Target

Feels good and not to loud. Does not come with a charger but uses a regular USB power block we all have.

The run time on these is pretty insane. I am consistently impressed by how long they go without needed to be charged.

I bought the costco version. Works well. No complaints. Doesn't get a ton of use but very convenient when it does.

Got this from Costco when it was $25. Costco wanted the last unit gone asap and it's been amazing.

There are various versions of the Philips trimmer (3000/5000/7000/9000) that come with slightly different packages of attachments both based on the model and occasionally the retailer (like Costco).

This one has several differences from the Costco version, so you might want to compare. The Costco package has more adjustable beard guides and more body shaving parts. This one has fewer guards, but does have the "steel precision trimmer" the Costco package omits. I find that to be a really useful addition.

This has to be better than the Braun trimmers. I bought a brand new Braun beard trimmer and that battery is a joke. I use that thing for about 10 minutes and I have to recharge it. It doesn't even cut that well either. It checks all the boxes until you got it in your hand and you're using it. So I might jump on this Phillips just to see if it's any better or at least less frustrating.

You are absolutely correct. I use mine about every 2-3 days to keep a very short stubble, and I charge mine about once every 6 - 8 weeks.

Stop acting like USB powered devices in the bathroom are a feature. They are not.

Not saying its a feature, just is what it is.

I agree with the above poster if its going to be usb then it should be a C version. I am guessing its not as water resistant as the proprietary one.

I have had this for 4 years. When COVID hit, I started cutting my own hair and have not gone back to a barber. I also use it to trim everywhere else. Battery life is great too. I prefer it over my full size hair clippers. It's a very good product.

Yes, it works very well and I cut my hair with it about every 2 weeks, however it doesn't have the full range of length guards that hair clippers typically come with, so it may be haircut dependent. I go with a 3mm on sides, 12mm on top and then blend at my crown with the blending guards.

Going back to Norelco one blade.
This cuts really badly if you're not careful near curves and dimples.
I got nasty, that's it I returned it.
Can't imagine how anyone uses the nether region.
Wouldn't recommend.
I can confirm this. I've given myself hair clipper cuts a few times in very sensitive locations. This can happen with any clipper type cutter, so should be expected.
