I have no complaints. PC Builders and purists will look down on it but as a guy who doesn't want to deal with building a PC anymore then I can't complain, it's good bang for the buck

The 4080 Super sells for $999 normally at every retailer, and has dropped as low as $920 I believe. The 5600 mt ram probably another ~$80-120 depending on quality (oem ram = loose timings), and ssd ~$75. Toss in the crappy budget mobo, case and cheapo psu for roughly $200-300 tops. Which brings us to the cpu -
Intel's 12700 through 14900 series run hot, and have been overextended too far with 13900 and 14900 lineups producing consumer & OEM backlash due to high failure rates. For over a decade now, Intel has been struggling to compete with ARM and Apple on the mobile front. Meanwhile AMD has become a serious threat to Intel's enterprise, mobile, and desktop lines. Add in additional lost sales due to custom in-house cpu designs for Facebook/Google/etc and you can see how the 800lb gorilla that was Intel is looking more like an old chimpanzee. Still formidable, but nowhere near as intimidating because they are being challenged by multiple agile adversaries.
Lastly, this cpu has no onboard graphics, which is pretty valuable if you need to troubleshoot or want a beastly transcoding performance.
Given Intel's piss poor handling of their "smokin" cpus, and combined with shitty mobo and OEM warranty departments (see Gamer's Nexus), I wouldn't touch an i9 cpu. Stick with i7 or i5, don't overclock till some future gen product, and strongly consider using AMD. A stable and reliable computer is better than the headaches of recalls and overclocking (free performance went away over a decade ago and is now built into pricing structures).
It was a different processor (this is i9 13900f vs. i7 14700f), less RAM (32gb vs 16gb), non-liquid cooled.
And calling it $1k isn't entirely accurate. There were coupons, cash back (that didn't work for a lot), CC statement credits if you have particular cards (Chase and Amex), etc. It wasn't like it was listed for $1k.
However, I noted in their little builder that you can switch to an i9-14900F for the same price as the OP, so I don't see why you wouldn't' do that instead. So if you do want to jump on this deal for whatever reason, take the free 14th generation upgrade.
