Brother you are comparing a Kia to a Porsche. Knipex is one of the best brands out there. Clearly expensive but the best.

The extra $25 for the Cobras gets you comfort grip handles, finer adjustment steps, and push button adjustment as opposed to the open wide and slide style of adjustment on the Alligators.
The comfort grip handles are nicer in use, but take up much more space in a tool pouch/bag/box and some people may prefer one adjustment method over the other. Can't really go wrong with either set.
Still great pliers and a good deal, but just know that they are traditional slip type.
