I have the lighter and I gifted one to a friend. It's very solid and comes in a nice presentation box. It also has a flip up punch with a nub to clear the plug after you use it. It took me a second (and some wasted gas) to figure it out, though, so I'll post it here in case anyone else picks one up.
The lighter has an electronic ignition, so you have to charge it. It sparks like a grill igniter. As soon as you flip the top open, the gas starts flowing. Hit the button on the side and it'll spark a few times. After that, the igniter stops working. If it doesn't ignite, close the cap and open it again.
edit: nvm it worked after a few minutes
