If you have a BofA credit card, this is stackable with a 15% CB BankAmerideal, bringing the price down to $765.

Warning though, in my opinion, bank amerideals are a pain in the $*@&.

THIS. If you know you're going to switch between brands then Pixel isn't for you. However, if you stay with Pixel, you get very good trade-in values. Also, if you have Google One Drive, you get between 3% & 10% (depending on cloud amount) back in Google Store credit. Finally, you will get extra incentives like the aforementioned 10% off or dollars (I got a $150 off offer yesterday which I used in conjunction with the trade-in on my daughter's phone).
Just FYI that 10% credit cannot be applied to cloud renewal fee. I had $70 credit from purchasing pixel 8 pro, i was excited that I can apply that $70 to $100 renewable fee, they said you can't, it's only for hardware purchases!

If you happen to have Spectrum internet, the Spectrum Mobile deal for the pro XL is pretty good. Gets unlocked after two months and good trade in values

Pixel 9 is getting bigger subsidies from Google because it is a people tracker. There's packets sent from the phone that provide Google info that is disguised as innocuous phone stats but contains your life habits. Where, what, why, when, how.

Is it good if I trade in SS S24U 512GB and get $15 credit?

I have pixel 8 pro 128gb, and that is straight up not enough storage. Modern phones should have 256 base.

Every time I've traded in my Pixel for a newer one I've gotten a great deal. Went from 1 to 3 to 6 and about to get 9. Maybe it just sucks if you're trying to switch out from a Pixel to something else.
yes it really sucks when you want to trade out of pixel, samsung values 8 pro at $300 credit

Care to provide a source to that, and how it's any different from every other phone?

Google is the only one to do that?

My Pixel 8 pro battery immediately ran out when it reaches out to 10% which is super annoying. Battery is pretty bad. Does 9 pro XL has the same battery issues? It basically means 20% is 10% and 10% is just a fake number since it will turn off in a matter of minute

Popularity contest. Most consumers are not that smart and only believe two brands exist: Samsung and Apple. And most people are followers, so if a friend or family member has a Samsung, they will buy one too. And teenagers will follow their peers and get iPhones. I would never buy either of those brands and prefer Pixels more true Android OS. So even though there are better brands, Samsung & Apple are the most popular and most demand for, so trade if value is higher. But remember, popular does not mean better..
Thanks Dad. I'm now going to try to figure out how to work my s24 Ultra , obviously we're not smart enough. I've had the pleasure of having the S24 Ultra and Pixel 9 XL. Im glad you're happy with the Pixel, but in my non smart opinion, its not even close to a Samsung or a iPhone
. But hey, enjoy your phone. Now if I can figure how to turn the damn thing on !
