Probably preference than anything else. I had used Note 2, Note 4, Galaxy S9, iPhone 3, 3s, 6plus, XR, XSMax, 13 Pro Max (hand me down older model) and Pixel 2XL, 4a, 4XL, 6, 7Pro, and found that Pixel is best suit for me.

Galaxy has too many "stuffs" that I don't use and I found myself preferring the Google apps. But my families stay with Galaxy. The other stay with iPhone. The latest apple shenanigan was that they determine that my foreign songs don't comply with their DRM and remove them all from my library.

They all work about the same, cost about the same.

LOL. yeah. I traded my 2XL for 13 Pro Max for my wife and got only $400. This year they gave me $800 for trading original SE for 16 Pro Max.

You can trade it to Google for Pixel 9 pro. They are giving 699 credit for 8 pro.

Why don't you trade it into Google for $700 instead? They would also have given you $300 in store credit.

They also did a deal on new years for 40% off so you could have had the 8 Pro for $600.

I bought this phone then immediately returned it as I just didn't like it. So I purchased a new 1TB S24 Ultra for 822 + tax which came out less than this using the Samsung Edu discount. 128gb is a minuscule amount of storage and the 90 day warranty is a red flag. On top of this woot is a bit sketchy. Hard pass on this deal.
