I really need to be watching my sodium but have heard many good things about these (especially for a quick microwaveable meal) so am gonna finally give it a shot at this price.

Bought 4 for 41.28 total. Not bad mixed with Trader Joe's Spanish rice or by itself. Quick easy meal after work.

I am really getting tired of the hate on sodium/salt every time I read something, there is no real proof just assumptions on what salt can do to you, yet salt within our bodies makes up large portions of our bodies and is used naturally for many functions...

If we havent noticed by now our food pyramid was a scam, and so is most modern health guidance....

Hypernatremia is real. I'm pro-sodium, though.

Yep, but noone wants to stay hydrated so its not really the salts fault at that point. Rarely anyone I know drinks the "recommended" amount of water per day, only people that do are active in the gym regularly.

I recommend Trader Joe's Indian Fare items instead (if you can find a store near you). They taste quite authentic and way better than these. These are okay in a pinch but definitely inferior in taste.
