A quick google is showing they do manufacture in China and Taiwan, though.

Apex makes tools all over. Some of their Chinese tools are low-quality some are good.
These are made in China, but are well made & Gearwrench warranty is good.
I use these as my 6pts and Icon 12pts that were on sale for $70

This price in not a huge discount but the $7 savings is decent, $57.23 is the actual normal price. [homedepot.com]
