Also ordered the costco 100 inch Hisense Qled 100U70N for $1799 (excl tax). Now I have a very tough decision to make. Which one should I keep? Have delivery after Nov 7th, so have a week to decide and cancel one of them.
Which TV would you keep? Any inputs appreciated.
I am inclined towards Samsung 85 Qled Neo as the price difference is around $700 and neo has brighter picture. Not because of Samsung brand though.
Any thoughts on reliability / longetivity?

The Q72D is going back to costco.
kinda makes me want to order 2 of these fricken things, one for my 2nd living room. it has a glare issue, Q60 from like 1-2 years ago. (I paid 1300 for it lolololol)
Chat rep said the Q60 + q70 are about 1000 nits brightness.
he said this tv is 2000 nits brightness. think he's lying? I think I read its around 1500 for 85 and 2000 for 90 series. but either way 100 bucks for 50% more brightness.

so I stick with Samsung. 2 year warranty isn't as good as 5 years, but for less than $100 diff, im returning the q72d when this arrives. and makes sure the Samsung isn't broken or anything.
thing is, im actually really happy w the Q72D, I am only returning it because I saw this deal, and it seems like a substantial upgrade for less than $100, (50 or so after CB) and maybe even break even if I sell mount for $50.
so qnx1D 2 year > q72d 5 year = all price the same. risking it (I get a 2nd year with visa signature cc) of warranty.
In your case as mentioned , the QNX1D is substantially better than the Q72D. It's brighter, better contrast, has mini led and local dimming. And, if you were able to chat and get the Care+ 2year warranty for free, that may equal out to 3 years worth of protection. (1-year manufacturer plus 2 years Care+). The deal is so good it's confusing to a lot of people.
You won't regret spending $100 more for a tv that was going for over twice the cost of the Q72D 3 months ago.
I dont think I will order 2. this is purely a free upgrade on the tv I bought and can return in current return policy, so it makes sense to upgrade to this.
Q72D < Q85D essentially.
chat rep confirmed it too, he said its basically same tv. he said its just direct to consumer.
+ $50 back CB from ya know the site, fingers crossed it works, I took a photo of every step of the way, from activating, to checking out. just incase some reason it failed. so 1132 after rebate.
and I am going to attempt to sell the mount for another $50-60 so that will be 1070 or so.

but I get 1 year factory + 1 year visa signature warranty on top, so thats well, as good as it gets for me. I wonder if I can call them and ask for 2 year warranty or threaten to cancel lol. I didnt find a 1800 number anywhere.
btw. when I was checking out, there's only 2 days for delivery for me, they must be running out. or full as hell on deliveries
*correction* earlier I had another rep, she also refused me additional warranty, and Mac Jerome. so thats 2 shot downs. still better than the current deal I got.
I forget, can I buy a 5 year warranty from costco / sams club anymore sqauretrade or whatever? used to be able to buy a warranty for $99 and it adds 5 years of protection to any tv you buy anywhere.
they both said "pick one, 10% or 2 year warranty" I said 10%. because I get the 2nd year w cc.
how many here was able to get 2 year warranty+10% + mount + free install for 1102 before tax? that was goal, and I failed.
