An OK productivity laptop with a nice, if older i7 CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM (upgradeable) and OK battery life at around 8 hours. Integrated Iris XE graphics means limited gaming and 3D performance on this machine. Acer Aspire is usually low-mid build quality. This would probably have been a pretty good laptop mid 2023 or early 2024, but it's missing USB-C 4.0, an APU for AI enabled apps, decent onboard graphics and DDR5 RAM.If my budget allowed, I would look for a laptop in the $500 - $550 range with a Core Ultra 155 CPU and DDR5 RAM for improved power efficiency, AI performance and 3D graphics. You'll get better battery life and better performance in the years to come.
You can't find a laptop with the specs you mentioned fir 500$!

Are you serious? Didn't you see the Thunderbolt 4 port before complaining about USB 4.0?

To be fair to them, it is in the pics if you look closely, but not in the specs details on the BJ's site. Glad you mentioned it in your post which got merged into the OP as a repost.

My peeve is that it would be so much better if folks posted the source in titles.

This one, being from BJ's limits some folks considerably. None near me and I am not a member, so this time I can't qualify. I would not have clicked in from my deal alert.

Once I got here, and into the thread, I can tell from the links, but emailed deal alerts, as well as the FP, and Popular Deal forums, only show titles.

I know that even SD employees often don't bother including sources in their titles, but I am all for posts being more user-helpful and feel it should be a requirement. Merchant sources matter for all kinds of reasons.

I didn't see the TB4 port listed in either the SD description or in the specifications on the linked page. Diving into the "features" section it does list a TB4 port, so I will edit me previous post.

Thank you. Perfect for what I'm after for use at our church, doesn't need any high-end features.
I've never ordered from BJs before, I used their 24 hour trial guest membership to checkout. However they charged me 10.5% sales tax, and I'm in a state where tax is 6%, so beware. Couldn't figure out how to easily complain, nor is it worth my time to track it down.

Is there a fee if you're not a member?
