I ordered and returned several deodorant deals recently. They look like counterfeits and don't smell right. I read on reddit this is a thing going on now too. I'm back to paying full price in stores now.

Who actually has some good info on aluminum in this stuff and how harmful it really is? There's always so much misinformation and hypothetical bs surrounding stuff like this.
Nobody. It's been well studied and has no poor in vivo effects including zero ties to breast cancer. People are uneducated but skeptical and easily duped.

People often confuse studies where aluminum was injected directly into rat brains potentially causing memory loss as being the same as topical use of aluminum. No such link exists for topical usage and no long-term study has shown a strong causal link. People that don't use aluminum-based anti-perspirant often stink because non-aluminum deodorants allow free-air bacteria to munch on their sweat (main cause of body odor). Don't be a smelly uneducated person.

Some people say they get pit rashes from aluminum-based deodorants. That is typically due to histamine reaction from changing brands. It can take a few days to acclimate to a new brand.

Aluminum in deodorant does not cause health problems. Ask your doctor, or just Google it. Ffs.

It annoys me there is no picture of the stick. The white deodorant sticks always gets all over my clothes so I prefer clear sticks

It causes neurological damage, or so I'm told.
I guess all people have neurological damage then, because all humans have aluminum in their body 🤣.

is this clear or white ?

nvm I watched the video reviews and it's white.
I'll give it a try, I normally use Old Spice Swagger but it's getting ridiculously expensive.

I used to prefer gel deodorants, but bought this same 4 pack in a deal last year and was blown away by it lasting the full 72 hours if you choose to do so. By habit, I still apply after a shower every day, but it works extremely well and this price is a no brainer. 2 things to watch out for: as a previous poster mentioned, there have been issues with fakes for some odd reason, and this deodorants does often leave behind sticky residue that only becomes noticeable when you shower and want to clean those pits. Would still likely use a gel version if offered at the same pricepoint, but I never see those at comparable prices.

I've been stocking up on the Cool Rush 2 packs, they've run multiple deals where they're under $2 per stick and the dates I've gotten are June and July 2026.

Yes all common anti-perspirants have aluminum and yes aluminum will stain your shirts over time (takes quite a while with Cool Rush, been using it for years). But sweat causes much nastier (and smellier) stains.
