Six watts is very low power for burning any substantial materials. The higher you can get, the better. Many of these laser engravers run on the same underlying basic software. They often come with some generic operational software but I wouldn't recommend using it if you wish to keep your sanity.

There are plenty of options for better software out there that can be found with a quick google search. Some are free and some are a few dollars. They will offer up a much nicer experience. As well, YouTube is a gold mine of guidance to help you understand how to use these.

*Take note, these are not toys and the laser can do damage. Be sure to follow safety advice. As well, they are not simple to use. You must take the time to learn how to operate them which will require some research.
