In fact, I went to acehardware.com and was pleased to find that it's not just a garbage can store; they sell all kinds of stuff. And after carefully re-reading the post and coupon details, I realized that the coupon is good for more than just garbage cans, despite the fact that like three people said they'd be using it for a garbage can.

That's why my original comment opposed your stance that it was a silly thing to say because I don't think it's fair to call someone's curiosity for clarification silly. I think I'm understanding your original post more clearly.
Was going to see if this is applicable for a box fan which is just under $30. They're around $23 for lowest price and similar versions @ homedepot and around $25 @ walmart. So thought this would be a good deal around $15. Not sure of box fan deals for black friday so I will keep an eye out on them. You can also get a garbage can.
