Nice deal on Ridgid's new 8ah Max Output EXP batteries. These use 21700 cells and supposedly deliver a lot more power in a much more compact package. The 8ah is just a bit bigger than the standard 4ah battery.

$179 for two is pretty good, as a single 8ah also costs $179 right now.

Or get the pair of 8ah with the simultaneous fast charger for $268:

Going forward, these 21700 "EXP" batteries are like the brushless versions of tools; they seem to be superior in every way.

Not a bad deal at all but guessing these will be $150 or better around BF.

Also, these aren't tabless like the new 4ah EXP's with the orange "P". The EXP here is written in all black.

True. Right now Ridgid only offers the the tabless 21700 cells in a 4ah EXP battery, at $139/ea. No word yet on if/when they will roll out tabless in the bigger capacity batteries.

FYI- The 2 pack 8 Ah price has indeed dropped to $149 if you're still in the market or maybe need to get a price adjustment.

Certainly appreciate the heads up.
Picked up all I needed on a previous sale.
Using the 1 year return window on the HD card you can buy a new item, then return it with the old receipt. Effectively giving you a both price adjustment and renewing your 1 year window.
