I'm highly invested in google home/nest and have regrets
Only worth it to stream audio. Google assistant is a mess.
Probably will be discontinued shortly

Good timing - I was going to pick up a pair but thought I'd have to wait until Black Friday sales. These sound like great speakers, so hard to imagine they'd go for much less than $50 each on BF.

Hmm, I'm getting an error. Says it's "limited to 1 per customer." Maybe just a temporary website glitch?

Note: looks like I'm only getting this for the white speakers. The black ones are checking out okay.

Just picked up two white ones at my local Best Buy. They rung up at the correct price: 2 for $100.

Thanks! Picked up a pair in black. And limited to one order per customer. (You know I tried to also get a pair of the chalk ones).

Check out the previous thread for this same deal. I had issues that were fixed based on the thoughts presented there. The key for me was limiting the 5ghz channels for my Chromecast audios. I still want to broadcast my TV audio to all speakers. I was able to do it through a sort of hack and it was amazing and I've had a taste now!

I have the Google streamer coming and then I should be about to do Bluetooth to these speakers which will be great but not the real whole deal...

I've had 3 of these for a while (along with 1 original Google) and they're just buggy. If there was ever a way to sell these or trade these in for something else I'd do it immediately. They just don't do anything consistently (Google commands, YouTube music, etc).

I have an entire Google ecosystem in my home with multiple Home and Home minis, a Max, and 3 displays with twin Nest Wifi routers. I was having major issues with Google assistant to the point where I only used the displays for alarms and speakers for music. Ironically, switching to Eero routers, everything is working like it used to years ago. Check your router if you are having issues.

I know how I used to do it. It's like I had 6 months of crack and now there's no more crack...

It's definitely possible and incredible... but it was a super annoying workaround where you manually clicked every speaker casting just audio and then casted to that and you had to do it every single time.

I used to hate all podcasts but now there's tosh show and Superfly and it's so amazing to just go from the video version drinking coffee to the audio version folding laundry or something...

O I do believe I know how to cast to only these two. Through Bluetooth with Google TV or the new Google TV streamer. It's in the mail I haven't done it yet...
