My issue with digital gauges is it aways seems that when I need it I am changing batteries.

I've used analog gauges for decades, these days I distrust them. I guess if you need a simple inflator, this would work.
I did a lot of research a few years ago because I wanted an inflator/gauge (got tired of adding air, check pressure, add air...) and found this on Amazon. Has been working flawlessly since (and yes, I've actually checked the pressure readings against other gauges I own lol).

Based on the reviews doesn't seem any more accurate than the Lowes ones.

That's the same model I've settled on as well.

I feel like the accuracy of tpms on cars is always off given consistency of reads on multiple gages like this one by the way.

This was covered on a recent project farm video and the inflator/Guage from harbor freight did well.

Could you recommend a long hose/pipe/auto winding pipe for home garage usage?

The model he tested is the $30 Merlin digital. HF has two others more in line with this deal that are $15 and $10. I wonder how those fare.

Has anyone found a Clip on Locking " Ball Foot" pistol inflator with gauge like this, maybe even just the replacement hose with factory crimps with clip on ball foot end available anywhere?

Have a few applications where the strait adaptor won't work, and struggling to find a Factory crimped hose attachment with the locking clip on ball foot end.

I have this. It inflates well but it is always reading above the actual tire pressure. Compared to 3 other gauges and my TPMS. Annoying having to use this and another gauge to get pressure right

I've had two of the Kobalt gun style inflators and both developed a slow air leak pretty quickly. They sit in a drawer in my toolbox, used for the occasional tire or toy that needs topped off, so they haven't been used and abused. They still work and the jobs are quick enough that it won't drain the tank, so I haven't bothered getting a replacement. Accuracy of the gauges never seemed to be a problem as it always matched the manual gauge and TPM readings inside the car. YMMV.

I have a ton of Kobalt tools that work great, so it's tempting to try one more time at $10... but I think I will be going with another brand on the next one.

Has this been calibrated by top members of the state and federal departments of weights and measures, to be dead-on balls accurate?

Have something similar and I agree. Works great and accurate.
