          My 7ish year old V8 is on its last legs and about to let go so I am looking for a new one to replace it. Based on my research, It appears that this one has around 100 air watts of power, putting it just below my V8 at 115 AW. Costco has the v15 (240aw) on sale for $500 starting at the end of December. It is a lot more money but i think I'm going with that one. I think the V15 will be able to clean my largish 2,300 sqft house better and clean carpets better.

          It does have a removable battery. Dyson's site says "Easily replaceable with a spare removable battery (sold separately) with a single button. The removable battery can be charged separately. Click here to purchase a replacement battery"
