I've got a 5.1 set up of the Qs from about 12 years ago, Q350s and Q750s a center and a sub. Still wows me every time I listen to them.
The only reason I don't grab this deal is because I don't have a room in my house without some sort of Kef setup.

In a configuration like this, the 1.5" tweeter almost undoubtedly will have a larger magnet and be able to produce higher SPL up to 20khz. The bigger tweeter typically allows you to lower the crossover frequency of the overall speaker design as well, which helps with flexibility.
Speaker drivers and design have come a long way since the days when 4 way speakers were needed (woofer/midwoofer/tweeter/super tweeter designs). A properly designed modern 2 or 3 way speaker will beat most of those old designs.
KEF produces good quality drivers and speakers, outside of DIY it's one of the only brands I'd consider buying, as it's not extremely overpriced and well designed. I've built my entire 5.1 and a dozen other speakers, but KEF seems to produce a good quality product.
My 5.1 system consists of 2 different tweeters, my rears have a 1" Dayton ND25FW-4 tweeter that weighs .35lbs and is an amazing sounding tweeter. My towers have a Dayton 1&1/8" RST28F-4 which 1.8lbs each. I was astounded at the difference, both are great sounding tweeters but the larger one can go well past the needs of my speaker design, the smaller one falls off when you really crank those rears. It's a 10$ tweeter vs a 40$ tweeter and doesn't really impact the overall speaker cost that much.
