Tempted, but I feel like I've read bad reviews for the products from this brand
I have multiple lights by this brand and really like them! I now will only buy this brand to limit the number of apps I have for lights.

On Amazon it's says it's a frequent return. Anyone know possible why?
Possibly because people get these for a Christmas display and then return them in January?

Question, can you remotely trigger this on through the APP? I noticed my other GOVEE string lights wont turn on from the APP, I have to be home with my bluetooth on.
Wifi means yes, you can do remotely on this one. Most times is WiFi + Bluetooth. But if it is BT only then you can't, like your case.

Anyone know if you can connect 3 of these up to 300ft?
Nope. Controller maxes at 3 segments.

I am completely satisfied with the brand reliability. So much so that I own over 10 of their products now. And probably this one now…

Nothing shouts my house is a brothel than these lights. Tacky and cheap.

I have these and and a bunch of other Govee products. These are good but it depends on where you want to place them and where you are located regionally. So I live in in North Florida and I had them set up in my backyard bordering my rectangular paver patio, in my white rocks that separate the 2 paver sections. Problem with that was during the summer when it gets so hot the outer sheathing cracks and water will get inside of them and they will short out.

Govee stands behind their products and have sent me replacements each time it has happened, but it's a real pain to dig them out and replace them. So what I decided to try instead was their Christmas light strings. The Xmas lights are made to bend and go around corners and such. So far with the Xmas ones I have had zero issues and it seems to me that is the solution for this particular application.

With the outdoor strip lights what I have done is use the sections that were still good and boarder them around my back windows which are covered by the eaves of the roof of my house which protects them from sun and rain. This set up has had no issues and they work great for this.

Also all my outdoor Govee light adapters and switches are stored in water tight electrical boxes that you can get from Amazon for like $13. I know they are supposed to be water proof but read carefully because it's only the switches sometimes and not the adapters.

Just a guess but I could see people buying it for the holidays and returning it when they are over.

Unfortunately you cannot. It's a set of 3 strips that make up 99' and that's the max it'll allow to connect to one power source.

The difference is the display. Outdoor light show more as little spotlights. These LED show as more one continuous color or array of colors.

How easy or difficult are these to install?
I installed mine along my roofline by simply wiping the wood with a rag and some alcohol...the sticker backing has held up through Texas heat and the occasional cold snap, along with torrential rain and crazy wind for over 2 years now. Still works great somehow! Not gonna lie, it's kind of fun to light your house up with holiday or sports team colors 24/7/365
